Youth in 6th and 7th Grades will meet from 5-6 pm for fellowship, devotionals and fun at First Church. There also will be opportunities for community service activities with the older teens throughout the year.

Sunday, January 14th 11:45am-3:30pm-ish – RSVP & drivers needed

Both groups are invited to join First Church in North Guilford’s youth group to participate in Chapel on the Green located in New Haven. Our young people will be attending an outside worship service followed by handing out food to those in need. Saturday, January 27th 5:30-8:30pm - RSVP & drivers needed

Both groups are invited to participate in the annual homelessness awareness event located at First Church in Deep River. Our young people will enjoy a meal, a presentation and question/answer time by people who have experienced homelessness followed by an educational activity.

Our older teens (8th - 12th graders) will return to our church to create cardboard homes and sleep outside.

Youth in 6th & 7th grade will join forces with the Deep River youth to create sandwiches and soup that will feed the homeless in New York City. Time TBD

Monday, February 12th 7pm -? A Parent Workshop RSVP needed

Marie Mozzi, a certified nutritionist and personal trainer, will be offering a workshop about the myths of nutrition, called Faithful & Fit. She will inform us on how we can love the body we were blessed with and how to feed it, fuel it and honor it.

Sunday, March 11th – A Special Workshop for both youth/teen groups

Marie Mozzi will be back to talk to our young people about nutrition and exercise during their youth gatherings.
