Baptisms

In the Congregational tradition, the sacrament of baptism is an outward and visible sign of the inward and invisible love of God in the life of an individual. It is a public act of the congregation on behalf of the church universal.

At First Church people can be baptized at all ages—infants, children, youth, adults. If you are not a member, we usually ask that you complete a new member class before the baptism of yourself or your child. Please contact the church office for more information or to talk with the Senior Minister about baptism.
